WITH THE RAIN (A REQUIEM) ~ POEM BY WILLIAM (CHILI) GONZALEZ

in Poetry of Art/My Artist Friends ~ and their creations... by

Let me sleep
Leave me be

Let my eyes close
Leave my soul to fade away, forever more

Let me rest in peace
Leave my blood to freeze

Let me travel to the unknown
Leave the body; it’s just flesh and bone

Let my spirit wander in darkness
Leave memories of past in fondness

Burn this coffin, for I am not there
This burden is not for you to bear

Do not lament or shed tears
When serenity comes, I will be near

When you are lonely in silence of night
I will embrace you with all of my might

I will finally be at peace, no pain
How I will miss you, my tears will come with the rain

I am the air and the fog
Take a deep breath, I will feel your heart call

You are not alone, this you must remember
I will always remain, like a dying fire’s ember

In a place of tranquility. Taken away too soon (?)
Do not fear what is in store, what the future holds, do not feel gloom

Night falls again, I walk in the obscure
Never ending love / forever pure

MONIQUE

UNA FLOR  SE DESPERTO EN TU SOÑAR

VIAJANDO ENTRE ESTRELLAS Y SUSPIROS

TU, FRENTE A UN ESPEJO
PURA E INOCENTE
EN UN CAMINO DE MARES
CON TU SONRISA DE NIÑA
CON TU PIEL DE MUJER
LAGRIMAS Y COLORES
SENTADA EN LA PLAYA,
TERNURA DE TU ALMA
UNIVERSO DE MIRADAS
SENTIMIENTOS……………….
PINCELES TROVADORES
QUE DANZAN A TU LADO
QUE CANTAN EN TU CORAZON
MI MONIQUE, MI MUJER,
AMANECER DE NUESTRO AMOR
UNA MANO TE ESPERA
MI AMOR TE ACOMPAÑA
SINTIENDO TU RESPIRAR
TU PALPITAR, TU DESEAR…

MARIE NEIGE

Marie Neige is an autodidact…a real artist as we say. Art runs through her veins and you can clearly  see this in her work. Her collages are fantastic,  a magic world has come alive.  Have to admit that I am a huge fan of her wonderful  creations…

FISH SONG ~ POEM BY ALAN KLEIMAN

FISH SONG

Nobody knows da trouble I’ve seen
Nobody knows my sorrow
Nobody knows da trouble I’ve seen
Lordy lordy lord.

Nobody now knows nothing
No stuff
No junk
No words of my life
No secrets
No nothing that moves or shakes me.

What is my life but a sad tale
Of fish flying
And maybe a whale
Nobody knows the trouble
Nobody’s now my girl
Rhubarb and roses
Fly away home.

A BRIDGE TOO FAR – BY MONIQUE LUCY WEBERINK AND VICTOR M. ALONSO

NOCHE DE MARZO.

Las aves cantan en la noche,

La madrugada tierna

Que escucha el pensamiento.

Son mis sensaciones fraguadas

En recuerdos distantes

Y urdidas de presente.

Es la fragancia intensa,

Persistente, de una palabra

Valiosa, imprescindible,

Que fragua la miel del silencio.

Porque yo quiero en esta noche

De invierno en calma

Modelar tu cintura

Dame una flor y un verso,

Un fragor distinto y un beso,

Mientras guardando yo estaré tu luz

Bajo la luna.

BLUE PAGE

(Sobre un trabajo de Monique Lucy Weberink)

No es sólo la distancia,

Es el tiempo el que abre

El azul de la mar

Que golpea esta noche de vigilia.

Hacia qué latitudes se dirige

El pensamiento exhausto,

Esa mirada tierna

De tu alma que tiembla ?

Qué insinúa tu mano,

Qué rumbos añora trazar

En el océano racial,

Tormentoso, de la existencia ?

Es mía la sangre que moja

El rojo centro del espacio,

El piélago supremo

Que arde de nostalgia

Y urde marejadas de pasión.

BEHIND CLOSED DOORS ~ VICTOR ALONSO

in My Artist Friends ~ and their creations... by
BEHIND

MY LADY CHATELAINE ~ POEM BY COLIN DEMET

in My Artist Friends ~ and their creations... by

MY LADY CHATELAINE

Through the mists inside the darkest night
Be I strolled as a fool may do
I came upon a lonely place
Where images were few.

The breeze was cold …
Hold a humming sigh …
Ghosts haunting, whispering, lullaby.

Murky dew-drops ice bite kiss
Frosty white my trembling lips
Through shadows veils the fool am I
I suddenly began to … cry.

For in her eyes her pain was raw
Be a broken heart torn rose in two
Thorns talons claw forever deep
Bloods tear drops fall in a castle’s keep
A tortured woman full of pain
My Lady weeping
Chatelaine.
